THE WHY?
For over 3 years now I have been photographing Makers, Crafters, and Small Produces. I take great pleasure from photographing their work and helping to tell their story.
Contacting a Photographer can be quite daunting and you can often find yourself paying over the odds for a shoot that doesn’t necessarily capture your story or help drive sales.
For a long time, I was photographing one off shoots that feel great at the time and gave my clients some lovely photos of their products, however once these images run dry, makers online presence and marketing drops back to where it was and they are faced with having to spend more to replenish the photos and keep up to date.
To combat this, I have put together a package deal that you can find on the following page. My aim with this offer is to capture a more rounded overview of your business, giving you a chance to overhaul all the photography on your website.
I believe with some careful planning this can be refreshed every 6 to 12 months, keeping your customers engaged, although this is of course entirely up to you.
The Offer.
1. Consultation to discuss your brand and inspiration
We will meet for coffee (or a beer) and chat through the details of what’s to come, what drives your passion to create, what kind of imagery you like and what fits with your brand.
2. Styled product images
These images will be used on the home page to drive interest and showcase your beautiful products. They will be styled to fit your brand, lit and shot in a studio. These are your showcase images and will engage people immediately upon entering your website.
3. Shop product images
These images will form the basis for your shop they will be shot on a plain background and will be uniform so people can easily see your work and decide what they want to buy.
4. Portrait and about page
I believe as a maker, it’s important to show who is behind the work as customers often buy into you aswell as your products, however this is of course optional. Your about page could also include shots of your studio and shots of you working.
None of these options are set in stone and each business is different by nature, there may be things you would rather show and I am of course adaptable to your needs.
The Cost.
The half package
- £50 deposit
- £220 in total
The half package covers just the consultation, the styled product photography and of course the edit.
The full package
- £80 deposit
- £400 in total
The full package covers everything from the consultation through to the edit. The £80 deposit allows me to arrange the necessary props, backdrops etc. needed to produce the images. The shoot itself will take place over two days.
The Refresher
- £40 deposit
- £200 in total
The refresher is open to anyone I have shot with previously and consists of a one day shoot focusing on the images you believe to be in need of a refresh.
I understand that each individual business is different and of course I am open to discussing a different structure to the one I have outlined above. Case Study.
Olivier from Savage Studios and I have been working together for a couple of months on another project and she has just started a new venture making a business from her bespoke one off ceramics. I was honoured to shoot her whole collection so far as well as a portrait in her studio.
